The value in C02581

should be set to approx. 5 ... 20 % of the maximum speed to minimise

the wear of the brake and also provide for an optimum braking behaviour by a low grinding

of the brake.

• If the motor speed falls below the

threshold for brake activation set in

, the function "Close brake" is

activated in the automatic operation

(mode 2/12).

• Here only the absolute value of the motor

speed is considered, the direction of

• In manual operation (mode 1/11) C02581

has no function.
