8.4 Status information of the SM3xx safety module
In addition to the control word SM_dwControl the SM3xx safety module transfers the two
status words SM_wState and SM_wIoState to the basic device.
Status word SM_wState
r The following table shows the bit coding of the status word SM_dwState.

0 STO "safe torque off (STO)" function is active.
• The drive is safely switched to torqueless operation.
