4.23 1×counter/16×digital input
The module 1×counter/16×digital input detects the binary control signals of the
process level and transfers them to the master bus system. In addition, a counter
can be triggered via the first two inputs.

The chapter "Parameter setting" describes how to parameterise
the module.
l 16 digital inputs
l Adjustable counter function (pulse, frequency) for the first two inputs
l Suitable for switches and proximity switches
l LED displays the states of the digital inputs
