The following functions can be automated by using the “Script Control”:
Open
Command line for executable system instructions or programs
User authorisations
Functions for setting authorisations for access via a network to
applications of the PCMatic device
Registration of DLL
files
Abbreviated input form for registration of DLLs
Setting of
registration entries
Manipulation of the registration file to save user-specific or device-
specific settings
Creation of
directories
Creation of new directories, e.g. in the system drive of the device
Copying of files
Copying of files, e.g. to the system drive of the device
Additional system

3.1.1 Open
The “Open” instruction can be used in the same way as a normal command line call-up.
e.g.
“Storage\VWOPC\VWOPCDemoCE.exe” “/regserver”
calls up the program VWOPCDemoCE.exe in the file “VWOPC” with the transfer parameter
“/regserver”.
If there are blank spaces in the parameters or the path structure, the function must be initiated by
the instruction “open”, and the executable instruction and the parameter list must be placed in
inverted commas.
e.g.:
open “\Storage\VisiWin OPC\VWOPCDemoCE.exe” “/regserver”
